Victoria Police, Licensing and Regulation DivisionInstalling, repairing, servicing or maintaining security equipment for reward (CCTV/security camera and audio systems, security alarms and alarm-monitoring systems, access control devices (electric, electro-mechanical, magnetic or biometric), safes and vaults) under the Private Security Act 2004. Nothing to do with building or plumbing registration.
Victorian Building Authority, trading as the Building and Plumbing CommissionFire protection work as its own Victorian plumbing main class (construction, installation, replacement, repair, routine servicing, maintenance, testing or commissioning of any part of a water service used for fire fighting (hose reels, hydrants, residential/domestic and commercial/industrial sprinkler systems, fire system pumpsets)) under the Plumbing Regulations 2018. Excludes commissioning a fire system pumpset itself, which the source below states is not part of this class.
